The last twelve months have seen an increase in membership, continuing growth in the Accreditation Program and an increasing profile for the organisation on a wide range of issues. ARCIA has been well represented in many areas including:
- A submission to Crown Lands on the IPART Land Tax issue in NSW that affects the cost of radio site access.
- Responses to ACMA proposals for changes to the 400-520MHz spectrum, spectrum training and licence fees.
- Representation on ACMA RCC working groups and Standards Australia RC4 and RC6 committee quarterly meetings.
- Expansion of membership and committee representation in NSW, QLD, and SA.
- Representation on the RMIT Industry Advisory Committee.
- Presentations to tertiary students on the radio communications industry.
- A presentation to ACMA on training and education in ACT.
- Award of two Industry Scholarships and the annoucement that this will continue in coming years.
- Awareness building through RadioComms Connect.
- Coordinating the annual Industry Gala Dinner.
- The Industry Excellence Awards program.
- Winning the prestigious Versace Award at the RFI Spurious Challenge in NSW.

Personal
Individual - for individuals with an interest in radio
Annual fee: $50 + GST
Student - for students undertaking a recognised course in radio communications or related area
Annual fee: $15 + GST

Retired - for members who have worked in the radio communications industry and maintain an interest in field
Annual fee: $25 + GST
